About Project
Aurora created an integrated communications and outreach plan to promote biking and walking in the Twin Cities region of Minnesota. This included a public education campaign under the theme of Be Your Own Engine that featured a series of lawn signs and posters to be displayed by bicycling and walking advocates and businesses such as coffee shops and bike shops. These signs and posters are still up 5 years later around the Twin Cities. We also did a series of media events to elevate the benefits of walking and biking. Joining forces with Cathryn Kennedy Consulting, LTD, the team executed media relations strategies that included media coaching, multiple LIVE TV appearances featuring new trends in bicycles and cycling bike-to-work wear and a “home run” with three TV station live reporting from the Bike/Walk To Work Day.Client:
